Wellesley senior citizens are invited to display artwork at the Tolles Parsons Center as part of a new Council on Aging (COA) program.
This opportunity is open to all residents ages 60+ and any individuals who have taken visual arts classes through the COA. Artists who are not members of any art society and have not previously exhibited are encouraged to share their work alongside more established artists.
The new program is intended to enhance the walls of the Tolles Parsons Center (TPC) and provide opportunities for COA members and others in Wellesley to enjoy this art.
Artwork will be displayed on a quarterly basis, with the first show running September through December 2023. Registration is now open for artists; complete the COA Art Application and Information form to submit your piece.
Registration applications will be accepted until Friday, August 18, 2023. PLEASE NOTE: Applications must include a signed liability waiver.
The initial show will be hung in late August. The TPC is located at 500 Washington Street in Wellesley.
