Wellesley's Annual Election will take place on Tuesday, March 3, 2026. Individuals can run for a town-wide office or for a Town Meeting Member seat in their specific precinct.
Nomination papers are available in the Town Clerk's Office at Wellesley Town Hall. Individuals running for a town-wide office must gather 50 signatures of registered Wellesley voters, and individuals running for a Town Meeting Member seat must gather 10 signatures.
Town-wide Office Deadlines. For candidates interested in running for a town-wide office the deadline to pull nomination papers is 4:00 p.m. on Friday, January 9. Papers must be returned to the Town Clerk for certification no later than 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 13.
