The Town of Wellesley has selected Jeff Azano-Brown as its Assistant Director of Public Works.
Azano-Brown has been with the DPW for more than 17 years, most recently as Superintendent of the Wellesley Recycling and Disposal Facility (RDF).
In an announcement earlier this week, DPW Director Dave Cohen said Azano-Brown’s “experience and expertise in a wide array of DPW Management and Administrative issues will make for a smooth transition.”
In his new role, Azano-Brown will oversee the DPW’s Management Services division and other financial and business aspects of the department.
Until a new Superintendent is hired, he will be dividing his duties between the RDF and the DPW.
