The Wellesley Police Department is investigating a home break in on Upson Road that happened shortly before 9PM on Monday, October 5, 2020. The resident was home when the break in occurred, and the suspect fled the scene on foot upon being discovered. A large search was conducted of the neighborhood, that ranged from Manor Ave to Parker Road. The Weston Police Department responded immediately with a K-9, as did the State Police. Numerous police officers searched the neighborhood and surrounding woods for two hours.
The suspect was not located at the time, but detectives are continuing to process evidence found at the scene.
The Wellesley Police Department is asking Upson Road neighbors to check any home security cameras they may have from 8:45 PM to 9:30 PM for any suspicious events.
