Fee Schedule

Beginning April 1, 2025 fees for all permits issued by the Building Department will increase. This modification applies to Building,  Electrical, Plumbing and Gas, and Sheet Metal permits. These changes update the fee schedule to reflect current costs associated with construction, permit processing, inspections, peer communities, and enforcement.  Fees for commercial building permits will not change at this time.

The fee adjustment was approved at the January 21, 2025 regular Select Board meeting following a public hearing. The new fee schedule for each type of permit is listed below.

Payments

You must pay for permits when you apply. We accept cash in the exact amount and checks, no other forms of payment can be accepted at this time.

Please Note: Permits applications that have been denied may require more paperwork, and a fee to microfilm the added pages or plans may be required.
