The Reusables area at the Wellesley Recycling and Disposal Facility (RDF) is now open Wednesday through Saturday.
Specific hours of operation are:
- Wednesday from 7:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
- Thursday through Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- CLOSED Sunday through Tuesday
The Reusables area closes 30 minutes before the rest of the RDF to allow for area cleanup.
Volunteers are needed to work in the Reusables area. Interested individuals should contact the Wellesley Friends of Recycling for information.
ROAD WORK ALERT!
DPW Highway crews will be performing nighttime milling on Walnut Street on Tuesday, May 2 and Wednesday, May 3 between 8:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m.
This work is part of the Walnut Street Reconstruction Project and will take place from Washington Street to the Newton city line.
Police details will be in place to help minimize traffic issues. Drivers should expect detours and access to Walnut Street will be severely limited. Please consider using other routes during the nighttime work.
