Road work is planned for Wellesley Avenue on Thursday, July 18 and Friday, July 19.
From 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, Department of Public Works (DPW) crews will be grinding and sweeping the road from Washington Street to Rice Street. No parking is allowed on the road during this time.
The road will reopen for normal traffic after this process is complete.
Please use CAUTION when driving in this area as the roadway will be rough and the structures (manhole & catch basin frames, water gates) will be raised.
The roadway will be repaved as soon as the paving contractor is available.
