The Town of Wellesley will hold a first-ever remote Annual Town Meeting and Special Town Meeting beginning on Monday, June 22 at 7 p.m.
The meeting will take place using the Zoom videoconferencing platform.
Due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, special legislation was approved by the State Legislature and signed by Governor Baker giving muncipalities the authority to hold Town Meetings remotely.
With the recommendation of the Town Moderator, the Board of Selectmen voted to exercise this authority. The official notification of the remote Town
Meeting is posted online, at the Town Clerk’s office, on the entrance doors to Town Hall, at Wellesley Middle School, and at the Wellesley Police Department.
Comprehensive information for the 2020 Annual Town Meeting and the Special Town Meeting is available on the Town of Wellesley website. These materials include:

Town Meeting members and the public are encouraged to view the presentations online before Town Meeting begins. If additional nights are needed for discussion, the remote Town Meeting will continue on June 23, June 29, and June 30.
