KinderCamp is an introduction to the Camp experience for children ages 4 - 5. Perfect for little ones to get a taste of what summer camp is like. Days are filled with arts and crafts, sports, free play and more! Campers must be potty-trained to attend camp.
Online registration ends the Thursday before the following camp week begins. If you are interested in enrolling after Thursday, please call the office at 781-235-2370. You will need to provide a copy of your child's physical and immunization records before you can register.
Kindercamp will be going on field trips with our Camp Joey on Wednesdays. Most field trips return to the Warren Building around 3:30pm.
All Senior counselors are 18 yearsor older and all Junior counselors are 14 years or older and both attend an orientation session that includes First Aid & CPR training. Each counselor is CORI/SORI checked each year. There is a maximum of 12 campers for Kindercamp. Camp staff ratios meet state regulations of 1 staff for every 5 campers under the age of 7.
Field trips are typically within an hour drive from camp. If you do not want your child to attend a field trip, you must arrange to keep your child out of camp that day. Kindercamp will be going on field trips with our Camp Joey on Wednesdays. Most field trips return to the Warren Building around 3:30 p.m. Campers will receive a camp T-shirt to wear on field trips.
WHAT TO BRING: Each camper should bring two snacks (nut free), lunch and reusable water bottle daily. Refrigeration is provided except for field trips. Campers should bring a swim suit, towel, change of clothes, and sunscreen everyday.
CAMP FORMS: CampDocs is a safe and efficient way to collect all the forms required for summer camp. All Health forms, permission slips, authorization to administer medications, and immunization records, must be filed electronically at www.CampDocs.com. Shortly after registration with the Recreation Department, you will receive an email from CampDocs asking you to log in and access your account.
If you have any trouble uploading or scanning any documents, you may bring them to the Recreation Office for assistance.
