Camp Joey

Camp Joey is a high-energy, full-day summer adventure designed just for children entering Grades 1–2! It’s the perfect next step for campers who are ready for a little more independence, bigger adventures, and nonstop fun.

Each day is packed with engaging activities that keep campers active, curious, and excited, including:

  • Games and outdoor play

  • Creative arts and hands-on projects

  • Group challenges and team-building activities

Camp Joey blends fun with structure, giving kids the freedom to explore while still feeling safe, supported, and confident.

Through clear routines and caring guidance, campers:

  • Build strong friendships

  • Practice teamwork and communication

  • Grow independence and confidence

Camp Joey is where kids stretch their wings, try new things, and make unforgettable summer memories.

Each week, campers head off-site for exciting adventures that add variety and big summer energy to the week.

🌊 Morses Pond Days
Campers enjoy designated pond days for swimming, games, and classic summer fun by the water.


Eligibility Requirements

  • Children entering Grades 1–2 (Fall 2026)

  • Campers must be able to participate safely in a full-day program


Payment Options

Full Payment
Full payment for all sessions is due by the first day of the camp week your child is attending
(except when using installment billing).

Installment Billing (Auto-Debit Payment Plan)

  • $25 deposit per week due at registration

  • Remaining balance is divided into four equal payments

  • Payments are auto-debited on:

    • May 1

    • June 1

    • July 1

    • August 1

  • Deadline to enroll in installment billing: April 30


Staff & Supervision

  • All counselors are 16 years or older

  • Staff complete an orientation that includes First Aid & CPR training

  • All counselors are CORI/SORI checked annually

Camper Ratios

  • Staff-to-camper ratios meet or exceed state regulations

  • Camp groups are structured to ensure safety, supervision, and connection


What to Bring Each Day

  • Two nut-free snacks

  • Lunch

  • Reusable water bottle

Camp Forms

We use CampDocs to collect all required camp forms safely and securely.

All health forms, permission slips, medication authorizations, and immunization records must be submitted electronically at www.CampDocs.com.

After registration, you will receive an email from CampDocs with instructions to log in and complete your forms. If you need help uploading or scanning documents, the Recreation Office is happy to assist.
