Wildfire Prevention
As the summer camping and outdoor fire season begins, the Wellesley Fire Department is reminding everyone of safety tips to help prevent wildfires. Watch this video to learn more!
Wildfire Safety Tips;
- Move away piles of dead branches, accumulations of leaves or pine needles and other flammable material within five feet of houses or other structures
- Clean out debris in gutters or on rooftops
- Trim off branches from trees within 30 feet of homes
- Keep areas around your home clear of debris
