RIO Task Force

The Planning Board recently created the Residential Incentive Overlay (RIO) Task Force to review the RIO Bylaw and suggest potential changes. The Task Force consists of a cross-section of Wellesley residents whose charge will be to:

  • Thoroughly review and study the RIO zoning bylaw
  • Identify areas for improvement and clarification and consider solutions to address those areas
  • Make recommendations to the Planning Board

The Task Force's work will begin in June 2025. This webpage will be the only repository for information related to the Task Force. Please see a listing below of the Task Force members appointed by the Planning Board:
