Advisory Committee
The Advisory Committee has broad review powers and reporting requirements, which are set out in Article 11 of the Town Bylaws.

Audit Committee
The Audit Committee is responsible for appointing the independent accountant who performs an annual audit of the financial statements of the Town.

Board of Assessors
The Assessors' Office is responsible for administering Massachusetts property tax laws effectively and equitably and for producing accurate and fair appraisals of all taxable property.

The mission of the Wellesley Health Department is to assess and address the needs of the Wellesley community, in order to protect and improve the health and quality of life of its residents and work force.

Board of Public Works
The three-person, elected Board of Public Works oversees the Department of Public Works (DPW), which consists of the following programs: Engineering, Park, Highway, Recycling & Disposal, Management Services, Water, and Sewer.

Celebrations Committee
The Celebrations Committee is appointed by the Select Board and responsible for planning the Town's annual Veterans celebrations and other events.

Climate Action Committee
The Climate Action Committee proposes sustainable energy goals, to reduce Town greenhouse gas emissions from the municipal, residential, commercial, industrial and institutional sectors.

Community Preservation Committee
On November 5, 2002 Wellesley residents demonstrated their commitment to open space, historical preservation and community housing by passing the Community Preservation Act (CPA).
